The WASBE Youth Wind Orchestra (WYWO) has been an important part of the WASBE Conferences held around the globe since 1983. WYWO brings together talented young musicians from all over the world to perform wind band repertoire at the highest level. Students will have the opportunity to work with internationally renowned conductors, composers and soloists during a week of intensive music making in Prague in July 2022. The mission of WYWO is to unite players through the global language of music.

The following items have been booked for you:

  • 6 nights accommodation in multi-bedded rooms in a student residence (18th July – 24th July 2022)
  • 6 x continental breakfast
  • 5 x lunch 
  • 7 x rehearsal in the Congress Centre of the Czech National Bank
  • 1 x rehearsal in Žofín Palace Great Hall 
  • 1 x concert in Žofín Palace Great Hall
  • Use of percussion instruments (for percussion players – please bring your own sticks)
  • 1 x ticket to Gala Concert of Prague Castle Guard and Czech Police Symphonic Band AND US Marine Band „The President’s Own” at St. Vitus‘s Cathedral on 21 July 2022
  • WASBE Prague 2022 T-shirt
  • WYWO members will have free admission to all WASBE concerts (subject to available capacity).

The following items are excluded from the registration fee and the costs must be met directly by participants:

  • Travel costs for journey to Prague
  • Public transportation in Prague
  • Travel insurance
  • Dinners

Cancellation and Modification Conditions:

  • Cancellations and/or modifications to your original registrations are to be made in writing by e-mail to:

  • For cancellations received before May 30th, 2022 registration fees will be refunded less a charge of EUR 15,- for administrative costs. After this date, no refunds will be possible.
  • A handling fee of EUR 15,- per registration will be charged for every registration modification received after May 30th, 2022
